The Demand
February 9th, 2025
Hey, everyone. I’ve been updating the website slowly but steadily. Thanks so much for all the traffic. I’ll keep adding more value to MabiTCG.com overtime.
I’ve been getting proxy requests from the Youtube channel comments and from the Discord. So there’s definitely demand there. I’ll fulfilled their requests and am looking forward to adding in the OP11 section soon.
Everytime I upload a new Youtube video showing off a One Piece, Union Arena, or Dragon Super Fusion World deck profile I update the website right away to include it. I haven’t been keeping up with Scoobz’s decks but just like my previous comment, there’s demand for it! So I’ll go ahead and update as much as I can there for all the TCG categories.
I’ve started to add more general categories that websites should have like a latest post page, about/contact section, and even a FAQ page. I’m writing down all the questions I get often and will be redirecting anyone who asks for easier communications. For example I get a lot of proxy questions: “What resolutions do you use?”, “Will you cover this TCG?”, etc.
With the latest Dragon Ball Super Fusion World FB05 set, a new Deck Profile section has been added. The next one in the foreseeable future will be the Gundam Card Game TCG. We tried it out a couple of months ago and it was really neat. It doesn’t hurt that it’s also from Bandai, so adjacent audiences of One Piece and Union Arena might be interested.
With that being said, how many TCGs are too many TCGs? I don’t really want to saturate the Mabi TCG Youtube channel with too many IPs as that will inevitable split the audience. But I’m hoping that with the theme of “Anime Trading Card Games”, this umbrella will be enough of a niche that will hold a core audience.
When we play other TCGs outside the anime realm like Magic The Gathering, Stars Wars Unlimited, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon, and the upcoming League of Legends TCG (Project K), we might do a preview video on the main Mabi TCG channel and then if we play more we’ll upload a series on the Mabi TCG2 Youtube channel. Yup, I already have multiple channels prepared just in case other TCGs take off.
So there you go, slow but steady updates, creating content on demand, making sections that any website should have, and looking into the future for more content to add. I’m thinking of Top 10 and similar lists of the sort, how to play certain decks, written breakdowns that work with the video breakdowns; And most likely right away will be a previews/leaks page so you can refresh daily for One Piece reveals and of course other TCGs.
That’s it for this update. Thanks and remember you can always contact me in the Youtube comments or my Discord channel.
