Mabi’s Quick Notes on this ST30/OP16 Luffy Ace Decklist
GAMEPLAN
-Overall = Luffy & Ace’s gameplay is all about bringing the brothers together and rushing non-stop. Thanks to their leader ability, characters gain massive power on the opponent’s turn forcing them to spend more resources to attack into them if they want. It sounds good, but is it competitive? Let’s talk about it.
-PROS = Very simple deck theory. 16x minimum Luffy & Aces cards. Build around to support them
-CONS = Less than ideal matchups against control decks
-Early Game = Best is going 1st. Turn 1 search with Inazuma/Ivankov, turn 2 attack with 1c and leader.
-Mid Game = Drop rush characters first on 5/7 don. Try to put both Luffy & Ace on the board.
-Late Game = 9/10+ don, keep rushing, supplement with blockers and event counters. 4c Luffy/Brook to bypass blockers to end
SPECIFICS
-Build = Characters: Archetype doesn’t matter here. 32x 6k power characters.
-Leader = 8x Luffy, 8x Ace characters
-1Ks = 22 (Average = 18-22)
-2Ks = 10 (Average = 8-12)
-Bricks = 12 (Average = 10-16)
-Search = 10 (Average = 4-8)
-Block = 6 (Average = 4-8)
-Event/Stage = 6 (Average 2-6)
NOTEWORTHY
-Should be cheap to create the deck.
-Deck variety is every expressive. Just build around the Luffy/Aces
-High chance of good support in the future (Ace & Luffy cards)
