Mabi’s Quicknotes on the Yamato decklist
GAMEPLAN
-Overall = Yamato’s gameplan is pretty simple. You want to rush the opponent down with constant leader attacks buffed with banish. You have a couple of supplmementary attacking cards to help you out but you’re focused primarily on leader attacks. Towards the mid to late game you will either finish the opponent off with the help of cards that rest blockers or start healing up and wait for the perfect opportunity to finish the game
-PROS = Beat down strategies are relatively simple, you just need to learn when it’s safe to go for game and when you can survive an extra turn to try again
-CONS = If your opponent has too many early game blockers it’s going to be tough to push for lethal
-Early Game = Moreso going 2nd is better in my opinion, you have a lot of searchers to double search or momo and with 4x don you can banish attack with 7k damager
-Mid Game = If your opponent doesn’t seem to be setting up blockers, continue trying to banish and use 5c Yamato to pressure further
-Late Game = Finish the game with 6c Momonosuke and 7c Hody Jones. If you need to go longer, your 7x Kikunojo can semi pressure and you can start healing with 5x Borsalino, 6c Kuma, and 4c Hiyori
SPECIFICS
-Build = Characters: 37 Wano / 10 Others
-Leader = 7x Banish support cards
-1Ks = 26 (Average = 18-22)
-2Ks = 10 (Average = 8-12)
-Bricks = 8 (Average = 10-16)
-Search = 8 (Average = 4-8)
-Block = 8 (Average = 4-8)

NOTEWORTHY
-Currently has potential to counter meta yellow decks (OP14 Boa, ST29 Luffy, etc)
-If rushdown fails you can easily start setting up blockers and gaining life until you have the perfect opportunity to go for lethal
-Pretty versatile deck, focus on banish, but you can build with more aggression in mind if you dont want to block/heal
