Mabi’s Quick Notes on this OP16 Sengoku decklist

GAMEPLAN
-Overall = Sengoku finally makes his leader debut! As expected, it’s a navy themed deck relying on summoning the three admirals: Kuzan, Borsalino, and Sakazuki. How strong is this leader though?

-PROS = Very consistant with lots of searching cards. Well balanced offsensive/defense. Great late game.
-CONS = Early game is pretty weak. Gameplan falls apart if you really don’t get your key ramp and character pieces.

-Early Game = Going 1st is ideal. You want your 1c searching cards, 5c Sengoku/Garp, and start looking for your 3 admiral cards
-Mid Game = Can potentially attack with 1c Koby if searched first turn. Use 5c Sengoku/Garp to ramp into your big 8+ don turns
-Late Game = Summon the admirals! Sakazuki stops a character that turn and re-ramps continously. Kuzan stops a blocker every turn, Borsalino can attack and defend the next turn. Gum Gum Lightning + The Three Admiral events to help end the game.

SPECIFICS
-Build = Characters: 39 Navy Cards / 11 Others
-Leader = Running 12 Admiral Cards (7c Sakazuki, Borsalino, Kuzan)
-1Ks = 11 (Average = 18-22)
-2Ks = 11 (Average = 8-12)
-Bricks = 12 (Average = 10-16)
-Search = 12(8) (Average = 4-8)
-Block = 7(4) (Average = 4-8)
-Event/Stage = 16 (Average 2-6)

NOTEWORTHY
-Definitely a top tier deck. Consistant, strong late game, high defensive potential
-Low chance of bricking late game. If you don’t get all 3 admirals on your 8+ don turns you fall behind
-You’re always one turn behind if you dont ramp with your 5c Sengoku/Garp
